On Jan. 16, members of the United States Marine Corps, Mammoth Medical Missions, and Team Rubicon gathered at the Philippine Embassy for its first Talakayan sa Pasuguan Townhall Meeting of 2014 to share experiences from their disaster relief efforts in the wake of Typhoon Haiyan.

Air Force veteran Lourdes Tiglao and Army veterans Kate Oliver and Kristen Rouse, among the first to deploy to the Philippines with TR during Operation: Seabird, attended the meeting and ribbon-cutting ceremony for a TR photo exhibit to be displayed at Romulo Hall through the end of the month. The exhibit is open to the public and features photos from the first days of TR’s response. If you’re near D.C., take a gander.

We’re thankful to have Ambassador Cuisia‘s support, along with that of the USMC and Mammoth Medical Missions, who played an integral role in providing relief to the hard-hit communities of Tacloban, Tanauan, Tolosa, and Carigara.

Displayed at Romulo Hall, the Operation: Seabird photo exhibit is open to the public through the end of January 2014.
